Academic Advisor

The Academic Advisor is available to assist students plan and pursue a graduated program of study. 

All the award programs offered by The Broken Bay Institute (BBI) comply with the requirements of the Sydney College of Divinity (SCD).  It is the responsibility of individual students to ensure this compliance.  However, the Academic Advisor supports students in monitoring their study pathways. 

Through the Academic Advisor, students can access an Award Profile.  This is like a map which outlines core requirements in each degree program. With the help of the Academic Advisor students can personalise their Award profile by including elective unit choices.

It is vital that students complete an Award Profile at the commencement of their study with BBI.  It is equally important that students update their Award Profiles regularly and check in with the Academic Advisor at least annually.  Those who are nearing Graduation are also urged to check their Profile by requesting a Summary of Results from the Registrar.
