Award Program Options
Joint Degrees
A combined degree (BA/BTh) is available with ACU National and the SCD. Students enrolled at ACU National and the University of Western Sydney in partnership degrees with the SCD are covered by the Higher Education Contribution Scheme (HECS), including fees for course units undertaken at BBI.
Cross Crediting
BBI students may undertake courses at any Member Institute of the Sydney College of Divinity. Contact the BBI Registrar for a Clearance Form, complete and forward this with course unit registration form to the alternate institute.
Units in the Bachelor of Theology degree and Master of Arts degree may be taken at ACU National, with prior approval of the BBI Academic Dean. By special arrangement, BBI course units may be credited at other higher learning institutions.

Bridging and Individual Units
Students may wish to attempt a unit without making it part of an award course. Such students are not formally enrolled in any award. They complete all assessment work at a chosen, relevant level for which they are qualified, and are given a grade at the end of the course unit. They have their results recorded, and may, on application, receive a transcript of their studies. However, they do not receive credit points towards an award. If at a later date they enrol in an award, provided appropriate conditions have been fulfilled, students may apply retrospectively for credit for the work done as a non-award unit.
