Help with Blackboard

Logging On

Logon to Blackboard at bbi.blackboard.com using your student ID (username) and password.

Where are my units?

Once you have enrolled and received your BBI student ID, you will be able to logon to Blackboard. Your units will appear under your List of Units. It can take up to 3 days for enrolment changes to take effect. 

Most units start on the first day of the first week of the trimester. Check session dates to find out when your unit is starting.

Check your enrolment in Paradigm if the unit does not appear in your unit list in Blackboard.

Problems with Unit Content

Sometimes a link in the Unit Content may not work. If you encounter this problem, try to google the link name to access it. Let your lecturer and BBI Support know about the problem, so that it can be repaired quickly. 

If a link fails to open, you may need to right-click and choose to Open in a new tab/window. You can also copy the link to the address bar. Let your lecturer and BBI Support know about the problem, so the link can be opened in a new window. 

Non-technical Help

You should contact your lecturer or tutor as first point of contact if your problem is non-technical. The unit material will have your lecturer and tutor's contact details.
