Symposium Dinner

There will be a dinner available on Thursday evening (13 September) at the Rydges Hotel (next door to the BCEC) for $110 p/p, including a three-course dinner and beverage package. This is a unique networking opportunity but please note, the dinner is subject to availability, so please book today!

Symposium Format

The symposium will feature:

Professional Development Accreditation

It is anticipated that the symposium will count towards currency of accreditation for working in a Catholic school. Participants should confirm this with their employer or professional body. Each day will be equivalent to five hours. Professional Development certificates can be issued, upon request.

The Catholic Education/Schools Offices of Brisbane, Rockhampton, Cairns and Toowoomba have confirmed that the RE Symposium will count for 10 PD hours to teach religion, when participants attend the full two day symposium.

Academic Credit

The Religious Education Symposium can be taken for credit as an academic unit REDU802. The unit will be delivered as a Spring Intensive in Trimester 2 (completed in six weeks).
