Chantelle Ogilvie-Ellis teaches the Catholic Correspondence Course for BBI-The Australian Institute of Theological Education (BBI-TAITE), which offers adult faith education to a wide diversity of lay people, including inmates in correctional centres.

Chantelle Ogilvie-Ellis has previously tutored and taught theology at both BBI-TAITE and the Australian Catholic University, in the areas of ecclesiology and interreligious dialogue respectively. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) from the University of Sydney, and a Graduate Certificate in Interfaith Relations and Masters of Theological Studies from the Australian Catholic University. Chantelle has published journal articles and book chapters on missiology, Catholic social teaching, and mission and identity in Church-based organisations.  She has worked in social justice ministry since 2004, and is currently employed as community organiser with the Sydney Alliance, with a focus on its people seeking asylum campaign.
