Prof D’Orsa is a Catholic missiologist and educational leader. She is currently Lecturer of Mission & Culture at BBI – The Australian Institute of Theological Education in Sydney and is an honorary fellow of Australian Catholic University. Prof D’Orsa has taught and exercised senior leadership in schools, tertiary institutions and school systems, including the roles of Head of Missiology at the Union Theological Institute (Sydney), Director of Religious Education and Curriculum (Sydney) and Diocesan Director of Catholic Education Diocese of Sale. Therese continues to teach in a number of theological programs, and to write and speak at the interface of missiology and education.
Professor D’Orsa and Dr Jim D’Orsa are highly respected academics who have authored three volumes in the Mission & Education Series: Explorers, Guides and Meaning-Makers, Catholic Curriculum and Leading for Mission, published by Vaughan Publishing.
