Meeting The Pope at Living Fully 2016

7 July 2016 | General Interest

BBI’s Academic Assistant to the Dean, Dr Zach Duke, has returned to Australia with stories of great success and adventure in Rome at Living Fully 2016.

Dr Duke and his companions submitted these wise words to meet the Holy Father, Pope Francis.

"Kissing of the hand is one better than a handshake! We wish to kiss the Holy Father's hand as a sign of our respect of his servant leadership and for universal peace in our troubled world. We are in Rome for Living Fully 2016 - a conference which will empower people living with and without a disability to make a positive difference in their local communities. Pope Francis' dignified love for people living with disability is an inspiration for us in our work."
