Marlon Riley

For the past 15 years Marlon has been a Cultural Tutor at Ngutana-Lui, part of the Brisbane Catholic Education Office.


His Grandfather’s country is Kuku Yalangi language (Daintree rainforest) and his Grandmother’s country is Wakka Wakka language (Brisbane) and Mt Coot-tha (Toowoomba) Great Dividing Range.

Marlon presented at the WiPCE Conference in Hawaii in 2014 and is also the Cultural Aboriginal Youth Mentor with Queensland’s Murri Ministry and the Catholic Education Office in Brisbane.

Marlon has worked with youth for many years and is a compelling and passionate speaker. He aims to get his audience involved and educated on the Generation issues faced by Indigenous youth.
