Andrew Murray is a former secondary school principal and current PhD candidate researching the wellbeing and flourishing of school leaders. His work draws on more than 30 years in education and centers on a key question: how can leaders sustain themselves in demanding and complex environments without losing their sense of purpose?

In 2026, Andrew will join Boston College as an International Research Fellow, engaging with a global community of doctoral researchers. He is currently completing his PhD at Australian Catholic University. His research examines the conditions that enable and constrain the wellbeing of Catholic primary school principals, with particular attention to the tension between vocational commitment and the structural realities of contemporary schooling.

Andrew’s book, *Faith Flourishing and Wellbeing*, examines topics related to his presentations at major education conferences, including the Microsoft Conference (2024), the Australian National Education Summit in Melbourne and Brisbane (2025 and 2026), Catholic Leaders (2024) and TENZ (2025). He hosts The Well.I.Am podcast.
