Cornerstones: Introduction to Liturgy

Through your participation in the Introduction to Liturgy unit, you will be able to articulate what worship and liturgy are and their place in the life of faith and the Catholic school. With this you will gain a clear understanding of the centrality of scripture for all forms of worship, and the various ways it is taken into Catholic rituals. You will be able to explain key aspects of the liturgical year and the physical and bodily nature of worship, as well as the importance of attending to the language we use. You will be provided with tools for evaluating worship services, including the music and songs.
