Cornerstones is an online professional learning program. It has been developed to enhance teachers’ understanding and confidence to answer students’ questions, whether in RE lessons or in everyday interactions, in ways that reflect our Catholic beliefs.
This course is for all those who want to explore the breadth and depth of their personal and professional life lived as mission, aligning that with God’s dream for all creation. It is especially helpful for those in leadership roles of mission; school leaders and teachers, staff and volunteers of Catholic agencies and organisations, who work daily for the realisation of God’s kingdom in the world.
This course is designed to help you develop an accurate foundational knowledge of the Catholic Social Justice tradition. The course contributes to the formation of governors, leaders, staff and volunteers so that you have the capacity to draw on core concepts and key teachings of Catholic Social Teaching to respond authentically to different issues and events.
This course is intended for executives, mission leaders, clinicians and pastoral practitioners in the health and aged care sector and its aim is to enhance knowledge and practice of the principles of Catholic ethics. By strengthening theological formation and ethical awareness, leaders and staff will have an enhanced capacity to discern issues and respond effectively within the framework of the Catholic ethical vision.
Designed for both teaching and non-teaching staff in Catholic schools, our courses consist of two brief Zoom sessions and a short assessment task. These courses are offered at various times throughout the year to accommodate your schedule and help you achieve staff accreditation.
Adult Faith Online is a series of short, online courses which focus on aspects of our faith and require reading, listening and reflection.
Like a book club, you can discuss ideas in an online community or create your own adult faith study group. Adult Faith Online can also be used for staff accreditation of both teaching and non-teaching personnel in Catholic schools.
Catholic Correspondence Courses provide non-academic adult faith education to students across Australia by distance education. Students can do as many or as few courses as they wish. Each course is an independent unit, although it is recommended to do an introductory unit before embarking on more detailed work.
