Academic Staff

Associate Professor Peter Pocock comes to BBI-TAITE from Charles Sturt University, where he held the position of Sub-Dean Graduate Studies for the Faculty of Arts and Education (2017 to 2020). In this role, he oversaw the Doctor of Philosophy, Professional Doctorate, and Master by Research candidates within the Faculty. He also served as Course Director in the School of Theology of Charles Sturt University from 2005 to 2017.

Peter has worked in higher education for the past twenty years, specialising in academic governance, research higher degree candidature, curriculum development, course design, and assessment practices. Before the introduction of TEQSA, he served as an academic specialist and accreditation panel member for both courses and institutions with the Department of Education, NSW. In 2015 TEQSA listed him on their Register of Experts.

Dr Pocock is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) and in his role with BBI-TAITE specialises in Not-for-Profit governance.
