Catholic Church In Australia 
This website is  organised and administered by the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, which is the permanent assembly of the Bishops of Australia. On this site you will find information and links for individual bishops and dioceses, as well as for the Bishops Commissions and their secretariats and agencies that are charged with carrying forward various aspects of the Church’s mission in Australia. You will also find links to other bodies within the Church, both in Australia and internationally.

United States Conference of Catholic Bishops
is the national body of the Bishops in the United States . On this site you will find information and links for individual bishops and dioceses, as well as an excellent resource for various Catholic issues and teachings including a substantial section on the New Roman Missal.

Caritas Australia
is the Catholic agency for international aid and development, working in countries throughout Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Pacific and in Australia with Indigenous communities. Caritas Australia is part of the international Caritas network, supporting aid and grassroots programs in nearly every developing country.

provides currents news and information about the Catholic Church. It also includes comprehensive information on the saints, church documents, and the scriptures

is a tool for reading and researching scripture online. It provides access to several different translations and languages. Its advanced search capabilities allow readers to find and compare particular passages in scripture based on keywords, phrases or scripture references. Further insight can be gain from the online commentaries and concordances

Online Journals

America : the National Catholic Weekly
is a Catholic media ministry that interprets the Church for the world and the world for the Church. It is a forum for discussion of religion, society, politics and culture from a Catholic perspective. The Ignatian traditions of “finding God in all things” and the promotion of justice shape our commentary. Founded in 1909 by the Jesuit order and directed today by Jesuits and lay colleagues, America is a resource for spiritual renewal and social analysis guided by the spirit of charity. Articles are freely available from 2000 onwards.

Australian Catholics
is about encouraging Catholics from all walks of life to engage more deeply with life. The magazine aims to open up conversations about our world, our society, our families, our values and our faith. We follow people’s struggles as they wrestle with questions about life and meaning, and share stories that open up new possibilities and ideas. The magazine is published 5 times a year, and has an online archive back to 2006. Some but not all articles are freely available.

Australian Ejournal of Theology
is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published three times a year. It provides a scholarly forum for interdisciplinary, ecumenical and interfaith exploration appropriate to Australian regional connections with Asia and the Pacific, and with the wider international theological community. All articles are freely accessible.

Sharing the Word elibrary 

The compilation of this elibrary was undertaken by the Sharing the Word Project to provide seminarians, clergy, pastoral workers and others lacking the use of adequate theological library resources, with access to relevant material freely available from the Internet.

The material can be read on screen, downloaded to your e-devices, often in various formats, or be printed.  This growing elibrary, started in 2014, already gives access to the full text of nearly 8000 open source ebooks, periodical titles, periodical articles, do cuments, podcasts, etc. as well as some major relevant websites.

Catholic Catechist: Providing Catholic Resources to Religious Educators
is comprehensive teaching resource including lesson plans, games, icebreakers, worksheets and many other useful ideas to help you save time and money. There is a free section with some great resources, or you can become a paid member to access more.

Catholic Resources for Bible, Liturgy, Art and Theology
is a website created and maintained by Fr Felix Just, S.J, this website contains a variety of materials, mostly related to biblical and liturgical studies, intended for scholars, teachers, students, pastors, believers, seekers, and others.

REsource
is an online teaching and learning initiative of the Catholic Education Office, Melbourne. This resource offers online materials to assist teachers in guiding students through various church related issues. It is particularly strong in the area ethics, but also solid material in Scripture, the Church and Sacraments.
