Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Theology

This course is aimed at providing graduates with insights into leadership in Catholic education, healthcare, ministry, social services and church administration.

The course is tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals in Catholic organisations through its emphasis upon linking professionally relevant practices around leadership directly to the everyday mission of faith communities in a pluralistic society.

Graduates may enhance their career opportunities and may also be able to use their qualification to fulfil professional accreditation requirements with Catholic employers.

Course Length 0.5 years full-time, or part-time equivalent, amounting to 40 credit points.

Admission Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree in any discipline from an approved tertiary education institution.
  • English-language proficiency.
Entry pathways
  • Students who have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline may enter the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Theology.
  • Students who have completed prior studies in the areas of leadership or theology may be eligible for credit.
  • If these studies were at the same AQF level as this course, credit will be considered according to the Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning policy.

  • Up to 20 units of credit are available in this course in accordance with the Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning Policy.
