Graduate Certificate in Governance and Canon Law

Graduates will be introduced to specialist knowledge of Church governance and canon law in professional contexts in education, healthcare, ministry, social services and church administration, through this course.

BBI is the only tertiary institution in Australia to combine governance and canon law in an integrated program. This helps meet the needs of contemporary Catholic institutions, through equipping our graduates with the skills to address both the demands of secular or corporate governance and canon law.

Graduates may find employment or promotion in these sectors. The units in this course are firmly linked to contemporary practice and include Introduction to Governance for the Mission, Ministry and Work in the Church and Organisations in the Church: Canonical Perspectives.
